Open Hub Day at the Impact Hub Zurich

Aine is at Open Hub Day — come say hi!

What we’ll be doing

  • Market stall: Creative uses of Japanese fabrics — Furoshiki and Tenugui are types of fabrics widely used in Japan. They are not just pretty, but very practical and sustainable. Stop by for a quick demo and try it out yourself.

  • Presentation: "What is a Japanese kimono?" — 14:00 in the Community Salon. A short talk about kimono history, different types of kimonos, and the current trend in Japan and internationally.

When & where

  • Event: Open Hub Day, Impact Hub Zurich

  • Market stall: all day (look for the Aine banner and playful patterns)

  • Presentation: 14:00, Community Salon

Why drop by

  • Learn quick kimono facts that make you sound delightfully informed at dinner parties.

  • Use your hands and be present and intentional, while learning how to use fabrics to contribute to sustainability
